Returns and Exchanges

Returns Policy

We hope you are pleased with the fit, quality and value of the items you have bought. All items despatched are checked to ensure they are in perfect condition and must be returned to us as such. Unwanted items can be returned to us for exchange or refund within 14 days of receipt*. Should you need to return items for any reason other than defects, incomplete or incorrect delivery you will need to pay the return of postage cost. I want to return a product to you

Unwanted items can be returned as long as they are in their original condition, (i.e. unused, unworn, unwashed and undamaged) and in a re-saleable condition. Wherever possible, items should have their swing tags intact and be in their original packaging. Please ensure, when trying on items, that you are not wearing any makeup, deodorant, or body lotion that may leave a scent or mark that may damage the item. Particular care should be taken when wearing jewellery so as not to snag and damage the fabric of the item. Unfortunately, if items are returned in an un-saleable condition, we will be unable to accept them for return.

Footwear

Please try on footwear indoors on a carpeted area so as not to mark the soles. We suggest you wear new footwear inside for at least an hour before deciding whether to buy. We will be unable to accept footwear for return if soles are clearly marked.

Jewellery

Jewellery, excluding pierced earrings can be returned if not suitable.

Underwear and swimwear

All items should be tried on over normal underwear and protective strips must remain intact. We are unable to accept returns of soiled items.

My order is incorrect

We are sorry you have received an incorrect order. Please contact us on 01285 658259 or email enquiries@mydanishwardrobe.com and we will arrange to send you a pre-paid returns label. (UK residents only). If you are a non-UK resident, we will reimburse reasonable postage costs.

On receipt of the incorrect parcel, we will despatch your order, free of charge.

Should you require your order quickly, you will need to pay for the replacement order and we will refund the cost of the original order, including any postage costs, once received.

My items have arrived faulty

We are sorry that you have received a faulty item. Please contact us on 01285 658259 or email enquiries@mydanishwardrobe.com and we will arrange to send you a pre-paid returns label. (UK residents only). If you are a non-UK resident, we will reimburse reasonable postage costs.

Late returns

Unwanted items should be returned to us within 14 days of delivery. Orders returned outside of this timeframe will be refunded by a credit to your account, which will be automatically deducted from your next purchase. Credits to your account are valid for a period of 12 months.

Gift returns

If you have received an item as a gift and you would like to return it, we will refund the last known selling price as a credit to your account, unless you are able to supply us with the original delivery details. If you haven't previously bought from us you will need to contact us on 01285 658259 or email enquiries@mydanishwardrobe.com and we will create an account for you to apply the credit. Alternatively, the original purchaser can return the item and the refund will be processed as per our returns process.

Can I return an item bought in the sale?

Unwanted sale items can be returned within 14 days of receipt using the same guidelines as full priced products. This differs from our-in store policy where sale items can be returned within seven days of receipt for an exchange for items of the same or higher value, on payment of the balance, or store credit only.

I wish to exchange an item

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size or colour, please contact us on 01285 658259 or email enquiries@mydanishwardrobe.com and we will reserve the required item for you. Please create a new order for the required size/colour and return the original item to us for a refund.

How do I return an item to you?

Our mailing bags are re-sealable so it should be possible to return items in the bag that your order originally arrived in. Please return the item/items within 14 days of receipt ensuring they are in their original condition with packaging and swing-tags intact. Complete the returns form on the bottom of the delivery note and enclose in the parcel. Attach the returns label (found on your delivery note) and place clearly on the front of the parcel. Please ensure the original postage label is removed, or covered by the returns label and the parcel is properly sealed prior to posting.

We recommend that you use Royal Mail’s Recorded Delivery service to enable you to track your parcel. You are responsible for taking reasonable care and for the safe keeping of items until they are received back into our Returns Department. Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for the non-delivery of returned items or the damage of items when they are in transit back to us.

Refunds

As soon as we have received your returned item(s) you will receive an e-mail from us confirming that your parcel is safely in our possession. We will then process a refund to your account within five working days. Refunds will be issued to the credit or debit card originally used to make the payment. Refunds for items received outside of the returns timeframe of 14 days will be issued as a credit to your account, which will be automatically deducted from your next purchase.
